Janice and Nolan Braud - we are a team, both for photography and for life. Nolan has been legally blind all his life (a legally blind photographer's a bit unusual), but he is an avid photographer and birder as described in this article in Birds and Blooms Magazine: http://www.birdsandblooms.com/Picture-Perfect-/detail.aspx
Both individually and as a team, we have won many first place and Best of Show awards in Texas area contests, plus we have exhibited and sold in several local galleries. We have been published in Birds and Blooms, Shutterbug, and some Texas publications. We have also done assignment work for local entities such as the city of The Woodlands, Texas.
We are primarily nature photographers, with a strong love for floral scenes, birds, butterflies, and unusual lighting. We also indulge a love of travel and have a "thing" for Lighthouses. Our love of photography provides a great excuse for traveling to beautiful places. It's a great way to grow old together.
